This excellent Ginseng Oolong comes from the Chinese province of Hunan and is based on a high quality green oolong to which tiny amounts of powdered ginseng and licorice are added. Exclusively the youngest shoots, after withering and rolling, are “enveloped”, so to speak, with a fine paste of the aforementioned ingredients and then dried. Visually, this tea is reminiscent of olive green tea nuggets rolled small and then pressed. The infusion is golden-green, with ginseng and licorice adding to the delicately smooth, slightly sweet taste.
Tea can be brewed several times, but the first two infusion are the best.
Ingredients: green tea (78%), ginseng powder (20%), licorice.
