Description
Mate is Argentina’s national drink and is becoming increasingly popular. It is obtained from the leaves of holly. Mate is found in many fasting teas. Traditionally, it is prepared in a calebasse (a hollowed-out gourd vessel) and sipped with a bombilla (a type of suction tube).
