May Livadi Tea Atelier was founded in 2016 by Cengiz, who has always been in the tea business and been working in international tea production companies at different levels.
The aim of his atelier was to improve himself in theory and practice. Luckily his small atelier was getting the acknowledgement from his colleagues and professors. They encouraged him to do more and better.
Their 35 years old family tea fields in Pazar/Rize is suitable for organic farming and his dream is to get the certification. All family members are working together, where Cengiz has the lead for speciality tea production.
The tea is everything for this region. Cengiz believes that it is time to re-think more on high quality products with sustainable production methods, rather than low quality high volume production. He is ready to share his experience and knowledge with others.
